Personalised Christmas Cards 2017

Mother's Day is nearly here

At last I have managed to make my mum's card for Mother's Day.  I used Pinkpetticoat sentiments and papers with a little bit of sewing and two ribbon roses I found in my bits and bobs box.  I needed a third rose so made a small rose bud from a scrap of cream ribbon, quite pleased with the result.

It has been a good day I also managed a birthday card or two.  I am into inchies and stamping at the moment, this card ticks all the boxes with the circles one inch wide and stamping details, the recipient is into fishing and diving so I thought the fish would work well.

The photos are still not as good as I would like, probably due to the fact I have no lights to illuminate my light box and the camera is not the best, but I will keep trying!!

March monthly post

Well it seems I am managing to post something on the blog at least once a month, usually when I have requests for cards!

This month we have Baby Cards, anyone wanting personalised baby cards take a look at what I have to offer and get in touch all cards can be personalised inside and out and different styles and artwork mixed to make the card you want.  I have used some lovely baby related artwork by Eline Pellinkhof, Pink Petticoat images and papers and some of my own artwork.

I should be making Mother's Day cards but as yet have not started, it will be a mad rush next week to get some work done.  I have been rubber stamping (my birthday cards for the year) trying out "inchies" inspired by an article in Craft Stamper magazine,  must say I am very pleased with the results, very clean modern designs mostly for men using some old stamps.  I have some nice ladies cards using Pink Petticoat papers and sentiments, and some butterfly stamped cards with 3D flowers or butterflies.

Well I am off now to try photograph some cards, I have made a light box with some thick card that came with something I ordered, the box should be brilliant but I only have one light to illuminate it, lets see how I get on!!.
