Good morning blogland, followers, friends and passers by. It's the midway reminder over at the Crafty Bloggers Network Challenge, pop over to see the other fabulous DT creations using images from our sponsors Milk Coffee Stamps. Here is my DT card using a Milk Coffee digi stamp, the other DT cards and this month's challenge can be found HERE.
This month we have a noughts and crosses challenge for you, you have until the end of the month so why not enter?
For my card I used the Die cut, Flowers and Ribbon line. I started by cutting out a shaped card and covering it with patterned paper (from my stash don't know where it came from) I also cut out 2 fancy shaped die cuts for layering. The image "Fairy Tiffany" was printed, coloured with promarkers and fussy cut ready for layering onto the card. Using my Silhouette machine I cut out two vine swirls and the roses, the vines were coloured with promarkers and the roses with worn lipstick DI. The roses were rolled to form the rose and the petals were shaped to give interest. The two shaped mounts were edged with DI and layered onto the card, next came the vines, fairy, roses and then two ribbon bows made with pink and yellowy green ribbon. The fairy's wings were shaped and a 3D sticky fixer placed behind to give some lift, the leaves and some of the stalks were also shaped to fit over the roses. Lastly I edged the bottom of the card with worn lipstick DI.
The Rhedd & Rosie Challenge this month is fantasy/mythical, so this is also my card for their challenge. The challenge is open until the end of the month too so you still have time to enter and their DT cards are amazing if you need some inspiration.
