Happy Ever After

Good morning friends, followers old and new and of course any family passing by.  This morning I have a few wedding cards for you using the fabulous inks and stamps from Oak House Studio.  The theme for the Oak House Studio challenge this month is Happily Ever After, the challenge runs from 14th July to the end of the month, details of how to add your entry are on the Oak House Studio competition post.

Here are a selection of my wedding themed DT cards.

This card and favour box were made using the Walesby Heart which was the stamp we used on July 12th and 13th for the One Stamp Project.  The heart was embossed with gold detail embossing powder and coloured with inks, all available from the Oak House Studio's shop.  I used white linen card and paper from Papermilldirect of course.

In the pink Happy Anniversary, Oak House Studio inks in a bottle and hearts from A Stitch In Time stamp set were used here, finished with a few sequins and pearls.

Bright and beautiful wedding day, again Oak House Studio inks in a bottle and the A Stitch In Time stamp.  I used A5 cream stamping card for these, it stamps and colours beautifully, this is also available from the Oak House Studio shop.

Hope you will join us for the Happily Ever After challenge.  Why not join us on facebook, follow the blog or join the new facebook group Inkspired By Oak House Studio.

Aged to Perfection

Good evening everyone, how the months are rushing by July already and a new challenge at The Crafty Bloggers Network Challenge Blog.  This month we are very patriotic with a theme of red, white and blue, and our sponsor is Oak Pond Creations.

Here is my DT card using  Oak Pond Creations. Image "Wine".  The image was watercoloured using lighter shades of red and blue and I used pale blue polka dots and red gingham backing papers.  The papers and image were distressed and the sentiment which was computer generated was added.

Pop over and see what the other DT members have done with their Oak Pond Creationes images and check out this month's challenge here.

An Apple For The Teacher

Good evening friends, followers and passers by.  Today I have my DT cards for Papermilldirect, two thank you teacher projects.  This week to celebrate Summer you can save 10% on a small box of card (approximately 80 sheets) at Papermilldirect until Monday 14th July.  You can also enter a new giveaway to win a £20.00 voucher from Lavinia Stamps, check it out here.

First a card in the shape of a blackboard.  I used Papermill smooth white, buff and black card with some patterned paper from my scrap box.  The card is a Silhouette Studio file.  The outer part of the blackboard was coloured with gathered twigs distress ink through a bark effect stencil and stuck to the front of the card.  The blackboard was stamped with a Darkroom Door sentiment stamp and embossed with distress embossing powder and rubbed over with white chalk.  The blackboard was attached to the back of the aperture.  The banner was added and two pieces of string added to the legs of the blackboard.

This is another Silhouette file, a gift box.  Again Papermilldirect smooth white, post box red,  lime green and dark cream linen card and patterned paper from my scrap box.

The design team have made some fabulous samples this week check out their blogs to see what they have been up to:

Ivory embossed card

Hi everyone its Papermilldirect special offer day and this week we have a fabulous A4 ivory card delicately leather embossed 230gm card.

Two box sizes to choose from:

Here are my DT makes featuring the leather embossed card teamed with mocha brown for this gift box and party invitation.  Both cards cut wonderfully on the Silhouette Cameo and the leather card printed well too.

This little gift box is a Silhouette Store download, I used the dog face and feet to create the invitation printing the greeting directly onto the card and adding an insert with the party details.

Check out what the other DT members made on their blogs:
