Good morning everyone, today I have a congratulations card for a student who has passed their exams or graduated, a different take on the usual graduation congratulations.
I used papermilldirect black smooth card 240gsm which was embossed with a Tim Holtz Alterations folder. Two Sizzix tag dies were cut one in white and black and the black tag was embossed too. Treasure Gold was used to get the metallic finish on the panel and tag and the white tag was smudged with black soot distress ink.
A top fold card was made from super smooth white 300gsm card and the embossed panel was attached to it. Tan coloured cord was attached round the top of the card to add the tags. The sentiments were stamped and cut round before adding to the card.
I love this technique, especially on black card the metallic colours really pop.
