<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">I used one of <a href="http://www.jmcdesigns.co.uk/" target="_blank">JMC Designs</a> weather girl images for my card, I made it to cheer up my OH as he has been ill recently and still undergoing hospital visits and awaiting treatment. The recent very hot weather must have influenced the hot colours used on the background and I tried to colour the image to represent sunshine and showers, colouring the hair blue for the sky and making the background a little stormy looking. </span></span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">We would love to see your whatever the weather creations so do come and join us this week for the Daring Cardmakers challenge.</span></span><br />

<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif;">Hello everyone, this week has been very busy with hospital appointments for my OH but I managed a few hours in the craft room today. </span></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif;">I made this last minute card for this week's <a href="http://daringcardmakers.blogspot.com/" target="_blank">Daring Cardmakers Challenge</a> which is "A Prickly Summer", Miri is hosting the challenge and wants you to use one or more cacti on your card. It was a bit late to add my card to the <a href="http://daringcardmakers.blogspot.com/" target="_blank">Daring Cardmakers</a> blog but here it is. Pop over for more details of the challenge and to see the design team inspirational cards.</span></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif;"><br /></span></span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgsz0gMEYz0cHc26B5a-L6YCcz24Fs77k5yGEr5lZoWpKfNB6yyzzoPyV8ZZRzr9SWmUEXuIRdYFlt0x4AW2hDQ8wPF8-N9RClh8xz6LDulrwVXPFhimUDDoU8DxQHX3Qt-aYC-b5jfVXzA/s1600/Daring+Cardmakers+Cacti+card+2.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="681" data-original-width="700" height="620" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgsz0gMEYz0cHc26B5a-L6YCcz24Fs77k5yGEr5lZoWpKfNB6yyzzoPyV8ZZRzr9SWmUEXuIRdYFlt0x4AW2hDQ8wPF8-N9RClh8xz6LDulrwVXPFhimUDDoU8DxQHX3Qt-aYC-b5jfVXzA/s640/Daring+Cardmakers+Cacti+card+2.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif;">A Sizzix die/stamp set, a photo frame die and papermilldirect card were used. The cacti was stamped, die cut and coloured with Polychromo pencils. The photo frame was attached to a piece of leaf stamped card from my bits box and then the cacti added to the frame. I stamped the small cacti onto a piece of card and coloured the odd cacti this was matted onto a card blank and the embossed card and cacti frame added to this. The sentiments were added to finish.</span></span></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif;">Thank you for your kind comments last week, I am finding a little more time for myself and hope to spend more time in my craft room and visiting your blogs and facebook posts.</span></span></div>

A die cut sentiment and smaller stamped sentiment were added to create a tropical birthday card.</span></span></div>

<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">Hello everyone, this week I am hosting the <a href="http://daringcardmakers.blogspot.com/" target="_blank">Daring Cardmakers</a> challenge and have picked the theme "A Moment In Time".</span></span></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">We are into May already and nearly half way through the year, Where does time go! This week I would like to see "Time" featured in your cards, it could be clocks, watches, hour glass, or a time such as fairytale once upon a time, or </span></span><span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">Victorian, swinging sixties</span></span>, tea time, play time, work time. Anything time related will do.</span></span></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjLlUvGqSHlmxPkQ7OvcJVRmdMJNgvpWjpbMdg6IgqAyGYUy3ueOMkSM_D44YPp6dWZygC_iC8o6pmpBhpi2D2QRoTUfOQ2oxmV4XFPvVqkq4-Z_OABDImkZ9IE3S0xfmaBEzHj4DH6FoQa/s1600/Daring+Cardmakers+Time+challenge++.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="701" data-original-width="700" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjLlUvGqSHlmxPkQ7OvcJVRmdMJNgvpWjpbMdg6IgqAyGYUy3ueOMkSM_D44YPp6dWZygC_iC8o6pmpBhpi2D2QRoTUfOQ2oxmV4XFPvVqkq4-Z_OABDImkZ9IE3S0xfmaBEzHj4DH6FoQa/s640/Daring+Cardmakers+Time+challenge++.JPG" width="638" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">Here is my DT card inspiration. I have been looking through some old digital images and came across this image by Rick St Denis from back in 2012 it goes well with the Tim Holtz pocket watch movers and shapers die so I just had to use it for this challenge theme.</span></span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">The image was coloured with ProMarkers and cut out with a circle die to fit inside the watch. The watch was coloured with distress inks before adding the image, I mounted the watch onto a piece of watch embossed card. </span></span><span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">The watch panel was added to a card blank with the sentiment and a chain embellishment.</span></span> The sentiment is from Crafter's Companion and all the card I used is from papermilldirect.</span></span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">Do come and join us in the fun this week, we love to see your cards. More inspiration can be found on the <a href="http://daringcardmakers.blogspot.com/" target="_blank">Daring Cardmakers blog</a> along with the link to add your creations.</span></span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><br /></span></span>

<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">Good morning evryone, and welcome to my new followers. Today I have my DT card for the <a href="http://daringcardmakers.blogspot.com/" target="_blank">Daring Cardmakers Elemental Challenge</a>. Shabneeze is hosting the challenge this week and has chosen this gorgeous inspirational picture for you.</span></span></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEifxMA3DZznZHVCdLl-4NkGcvC066XidOImTixM0s1vTAMkmW-tT6J6_J1QpUMe4SZBnpOYf5uUd0k4iAg2uFsJ78kvVvT5WbJK-R4igJ0I5erIAYVX4uk6KxZBh_Nh-cyEXXLN5F-LvPuZ/s1600/May+2019+inspiration+Shabneez.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="480" data-original-width="480" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEifxMA3DZznZHVCdLl-4NkGcvC066XidOImTixM0s1vTAMkmW-tT6J6_J1QpUMe4SZBnpOYf5uUd0k4iAg2uFsJ78kvVvT5WbJK-R4igJ0I5erIAYVX4uk6KxZBh_Nh-cyEXXLN5F-LvPuZ/s400/May+2019+inspiration+Shabneez.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">As usual pick three elements (or more) from the picture when making your card, the colour palette being one.</span></span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">For my card I chose fairy wings, flowers, gold dust and pastel and peachy colours from the top flowers.</span></span><br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgm3MP2K9h170-iO8XdDQeU12V1nAQaAs6aDQGcJB5Rvm50UjIL2HvOME5c6A_bIGWnHwA_xOPXvYAKSZk86n-9e3mbVb-jz6l64T1fWyq2VHypkYzOlbvRFglk7_NaWMqgUxsXbxmGWKaY/s1600/Daring+Cardmakers+Elemental+Challenge+May+2.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="668" data-original-width="700" height="608" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgm3MP2K9h170-iO8XdDQeU12V1nAQaAs6aDQGcJB5Rvm50UjIL2HvOME5c6A_bIGWnHwA_xOPXvYAKSZk86n-9e3mbVb-jz6l64T1fWyq2VHypkYzOlbvRFglk7_NaWMqgUxsXbxmGWKaY/s640/Daring+Cardmakers+Elemental+Challenge+May+2.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"></span></span><br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">Who can resist a Lavinia Stamp fairy, I started by making the background with my Geli Plate using distress inks in yellow/peachy pink tones and pulled the print using papermilldirect 200gsm smooth white card. </span></span></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">A little more colour was added to even up the print. The fairy was stamped in black, some flowers in pastel coloured inks then more flowers in black. I covered the fairy with a circle of card and blended ink round it to create the moon. More colour was blended round the outside of the card just to darken it a little and gold and silver fine glitter added to the flowers.</span></span></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjU9gUMZbNcRbL1quONU7-EBwY9auGT2gQ7rciAMBv6J9DxNNe44QAWJ-7tXunsAZq7jGstwKgRxio1b7NzRsTqZeVuJxlCCJwHMKj_7N7JXMqHsKkHxByZMTfjfxzR6SaIMr3CtxRlD39w/s1600/Daring+Cardmakers+Elemental+Challenge+May+5.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="659" data-original-width="700" height="602" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjU9gUMZbNcRbL1quONU7-EBwY9auGT2gQ7rciAMBv6J9DxNNe44QAWJ-7tXunsAZq7jGstwKgRxio1b7NzRsTqZeVuJxlCCJwHMKj_7N7JXMqHsKkHxByZMTfjfxzR6SaIMr3CtxRlD39w/s640/Daring+Cardmakers+Elemental+Challenge+May+5.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><br /></span></span>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">I wanted to bring the pastel shades into the wings so removed some of the colour with a water brush and added pale pink, blue, green and yellow distress inks to the wings.</span></span></div>
<span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><br /></span></span>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">The finished panel was layered onto black card and then onto a papermilldirect hessian textured card blank.</span></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">We would love to see which elements you pick and how you use them in your cards. Do pop over and join us this week at <a href="http://daringcardmakers.blogspot.com/" target="_blank">Daring Carmakers</a> for this gorgeous challenge.</span></span></div>

<span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">My card was made quickly as last week and the Easter weekend were taken up with family, again this was a rushed card made a few days before the challenge date. I used papermilldirect white hopsack card which gives a lovely texture to the balloons, Taylored Expressions "Bold Balloons" stamps and dies set and Versa Magic multi surface chalk ink pads which give a lovely soft translucent image.</span></span></div>

<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">Hi everyone, my card today is a stamped collage card for a twelve year old. My grandchildren have grown up so quickly and are into music, their mobile phones and computer games so what kind of card do I make for them? I thought this would go down well incorporating the 12 for the age and personalising the insert.</span></span> </div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">The collage background was created using Tim Holtz tissue wrap, AALL guitar stamp, 49 and Market splatter stamp and an old wood mounted rubber stamp with three circles, distress inks and papermilldirect white linen, white hopsack, black plain, Christmas red plain card and white linen paper.</span></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">I started with a piece of white linen card and attached torn tissue with collage medium, when this was dry I added distress inks in yellows and oranges leaving some of the card un-inked. The guitar collage stamp was stamped and heat embossed then coloured with red distress marker. A selection of various stamps were stamped over the background and the numbers (12) and sentiments stamped.</span></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><br /></span></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">Hopsack textured card was made into a card blank onto which a Christmas red mat was added, black card was layered onto the red and the stamped panel added to it. An insert was printed with a personalised birthday greeting.</span></span><br />

<span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">I have a blog post on the <a href="https://www.papermilldirect.co.uk/inspire" target="_blank">papermilldirect blog</a> with a little more information. </span></span></div>

<span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">I set about designing my card using some of the stamps from the set. </span></span>I wanted to bring in blue to tone with the stamped square and cut a square of papermilldirect Turquoise Cumbria Colour Card slightly smaller than my papermilldirect white linen card blank. An oblong of Ebony Cumbria Colour Card was cut to add some contrast and the lighthouse was stamped onto this using white ink, the sentiment was stamped and embossed with sea foam white embossing powder.</span></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"></span></span></div>

<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">The two stamped panels were moved around on the blue card until I was happy with the placement but I thought the card still needed some more interest. The compass points were stamped directly onto the turquoise card at the top and bottom of the ebony panel and then the panel stuck down over them. The white square was added using 3D sticky pads.</span></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">The finished design was then added to the card blank with 3D sticky foam tape. </span></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">The Cumbria Colour Card is a lovely card to use, it is 270gsm and a nice firm card with a gorgeous soft feel and comes in a wonderful array of colours. It stamped well especially with the white ink and I will be trying some foiling and embossing with it next.</span></span></div>

<span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">Hello friends, followers and anyone passing by. Today is the start of another Daring Cardmakers challenge and as it is the start of another month it is an elemental inspirations challenge. </span></span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">This month Nat is hosting the challenge and has given us this gorgeous inspirational picture. As always pick three or more elements from the picture to use in your cardmaking, the colour palette being one choice. More details and the design team inspirational cards can be found over on the <a href="http://daringcardmakers.blogspot.com/" target="_blank">Daring Cardmakers Blog.</a></span></span></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">I chose the man with the umbrella, circles (the mobile) and the colours yellow and orange (flowers) and a little beige to make this get well card.</span></span><br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">I used a small piece of inky card left over from making my grandson's birthday card, umbrella man from Tim Holtz Paper Artistry set and a Penny Black sentiment.</span></span><br />

<span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">I stamped the umbrella man directly onto the card using black Archival ink using a stamping platform. Placed the inked panel over the image and glued it down before stamping the image again. The sentiment was added above the image.</span></span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><br /></span></span>

<span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">Hello everyone, today I have two cards over on the <a href="https://www.papermilldirect.co.uk/inspire" target="_blank">papermilldirect blog</a>. Pop over for details of how I made these cards and the materials I used. </span></span><br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjge34JkVDUUeIuWdrTMTgQXkjWgqTXJ2Y9Kqeny6UnpHwUTcT8Yz9jyDe0S5IV9fb1xKmAIEdmkRfwKJSUCk4SNy0dqNCUe33tO_T8TbjlW4Ij0EJ4NpNnF-MnMbtPH7-dMNy6Zsckmxzo/s1600/Dragonfly+and+butterfly+cards+10.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="430" data-original-width="700" height="392" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjge34JkVDUUeIuWdrTMTgQXkjWgqTXJ2Y9Kqeny6UnpHwUTcT8Yz9jyDe0S5IV9fb1xKmAIEdmkRfwKJSUCk4SNy0dqNCUe33tO_T8TbjlW4Ij0EJ4NpNnF-MnMbtPH7-dMNy6Zsckmxzo/s640/Dragonfly+and+butterfly+cards+10.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">I
have challenged myself this year to use stamps, inks etc in my stash and try not to buy new, so out came a selection of small background stamps and stencils and bright distress inks to create backgrounds for my cards.</span></span><br />
</div>
</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">These two cards were made for female recipients and the butterfly and dragonfly make a beautiful focal point. I wanted a little texture too so chose textured card to make the card blanks.</span></span></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhz2yeK1-UvrmfDGaJ9v720_WtCtTHtD5fWZBcrXYEM5q29eJHmYCn39nvhQ1CG-ZxDo0VzkYF4bRnEJi56Jp4ash4l0T0gUqWtlScOToah3wRqEWsX6fJnxuhbfLekgDsKMZWtjA_pQfaM/s1600/Dragonfly+and+butterfly+cards+8.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="694" data-original-width="700" height="634" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhz2yeK1-UvrmfDGaJ9v720_WtCtTHtD5fWZBcrXYEM5q29eJHmYCn39nvhQ1CG-ZxDo0VzkYF4bRnEJi56Jp4ash4l0T0gUqWtlScOToah3wRqEWsX6fJnxuhbfLekgDsKMZWtjA_pQfaM/s640/Dragonfly+and+butterfly+cards+8.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">Both cards were stencilled, stamped and then the butterfly and dragonfly added leaving the end of the wings free.</span></span></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi9oHTT2S208ew92Q0XP3CwLTO_-2a3X7wq8GYHjotL2oAWc-iu6Bjgos-k2zctFjV8QcCRoyGMhttJZBRWBrOtAYaGkuY_ILC2ooV5d7gw5aNsfHQssbppMnYGvAuhWhtyy_dz0mr3oQxP/s1600/Dragonfly+and+butterfly+cards+3.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="683" data-original-width="700" height="624" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi9oHTT2S208ew92Q0XP3CwLTO_-2a3X7wq8GYHjotL2oAWc-iu6Bjgos-k2zctFjV8QcCRoyGMhttJZBRWBrOtAYaGkuY_ILC2ooV5d7gw5aNsfHQssbppMnYGvAuhWhtyy_dz0mr3oQxP/s640/Dragonfly+and+butterfly+cards+3.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">This is a great way of creating backgrounds and a way use those small texture stamps and stencils, I will be making more of this style of card and using some of the many stamps in my stash.</span></span><br />

<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">My design team card is for my 96 year old mum for Mother's Day. I always try to make her a special card for Mother's Day or her birthday and this year I have used pretty pastel lilac and white flowers.</span></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">The sentiment was hot foiled onto velum and I used a large hot foil die to foil the lilac background card. All card used was papermilldirect, white linen, new lilac and rose gold pearlised card</span></span><span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">.</span></span></div>
</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><br /></span></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">The pearl card, foiled card and velum were layered onto a white card blank and flowers and leaves added. I added few spots of Perfect Pearls to finish.</span></span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">Although I liked the card and was ready to send it I added three sequins after it was photographed. </span></span><br />

<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">Hello everyone, today I have details of this week's <a href="http://daringcardmakers.blogspot.com/" target="_blank">Daring Cardmakers Challenge</a> which is "Recycle It". Svenja is hosting the challenge this week and wants you to make something using some kind of recycled material. This doesn't have to be a card so go wild altering a box, a frame, anything as long as you use something recyclable in your makes.</span></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">The design team have some great inspirational ideas over on the <a href="http://daringcardmakers.blogspot.com/" target="_blank">Daring Cardmakers blog</a> where you will find more details of the challenge. </span></span><br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div style="text-align: justify;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">My card uses a piece of paper tablecloth and an old cork placemat, both of which were destined for the bin, a piece of old manila folder and some black ribbed card from my scrap box. I even made a coaster for my craft room with part of the cork mat as a bonus!</span></span><br />
<br />

<div style="text-align: justify;">

<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgMlf91Q919CIVC631ZwPfFZHq4U3mHA1OJ_I5zCJ3hilK3xR5DaPdmclsddpxIdtEbRooJ_Dr_Wi3IsYtNKEBDTpzHENecIpHYxgY_bizzHyYXhE6dbjWcYBmacfLP7ysxqz-d-bXs0QMR/s1600/Daring+Cardmakers+recycle+something+4.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="600" data-original-width="700" height="548" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgMlf91Q919CIVC631ZwPfFZHq4U3mHA1OJ_I5zCJ3hilK3xR5DaPdmclsddpxIdtEbRooJ_Dr_Wi3IsYtNKEBDTpzHENecIpHYxgY_bizzHyYXhE6dbjWcYBmacfLP7ysxqz-d-bXs0QMR/s640/Daring+Cardmakers+recycle+something+4.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">I bought the stamp and die some time ago to make male cards and thought the cork mat would be ideal to use for the stamped corks. A card blank was made from papermilldirect Christmas red card and this was embossed with a brick embossing folder, I was thinking of a wine cellar. The corks were stamped in black and heat embossed before cutting them out. These were mounted onto a piece of black </span></span><span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">ribbed effect </span></span>card and a die cut Cheers was cut from the red tablecloth and added above the corks.</span></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><br /></span></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">The black card was mounted onto a piece of the red tablecloth, then onto a piece of the brown folder then onto the main card. A sentiment was stamped underneath in black ink.</span></span></div>

<span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">Hi everyone, another Friday and another challenge over at Daring Cardmakers. This weeks challenge is "In Stitches" hosted by Shabneez and she wants to see stitching on your cards, this can be real stitching or faux stitching.</span></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">I used a selection of sewing related stamps with faux stitching and added some machine zigzag stitching in a contrast colour, yellow crystals and white domes with a little yellow paint.</span></span></div>

<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">I used papermilldirect Cumbria colour card for the card blank and the stamped panel, it stamped and coloured beautifully, had a soft feel and I will be trying some water colouring or foiling with it for my next project. I thought the stamps looked vintage so went with a vintage colour palette distressing and blending the edges with vintage photo distress ink.</span></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">The stamps I used were AALL and create #27, Carabelle Studio Taches et Coutures and the dress form and sentiment were from an old set which was free with a magazine (which has started to disintegrate now and go sticky). The tape measure paper was from my stash. </span></span></div>

<span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">Hello everyone today I
have three hare cards using Lavinia stamps Whimsical Hares and a selection of their other stamps. This month's <a href="https://laviniastamps.com/lavinia-stamps-monthly-creative-challenge" target="_blank">Lavinia Stamps challenge</a> is "Pinks, Purples and
Blues", my last blogpost was Mad March Hares for <a href="http://daringcardmakers.blogspot.com/" target="_blank">Daring Cardmakers</a> I just had to use these gorgeous hares as they were on my desk.</span></span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">I love these three little hares and made these Thinking Of You cards to send at Easter. I used papermilldirect raspberry pink, new lilac, black and white linen card, distress inks and a selection of Lavina stamps.</span></span></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi_HjJ4Zrhe1znYQkSD5ODxVaOc4zoihkVTJHrRfNxTpagR5JJCcpTyPSqkHY-GvqqQDWJapKTsEISjlc6sDPpDkNrloCMEe5YpJCVgehmkRADiCjT3f2-XiXEE5D1tUqmjIyn_rNEZJW6P/s1600/Hare+Silhouette+Easter+Card+.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="602" data-original-width="700" height="550" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi_HjJ4Zrhe1znYQkSD5ODxVaOc4zoihkVTJHrRfNxTpagR5JJCcpTyPSqkHY-GvqqQDWJapKTsEISjlc6sDPpDkNrloCMEe5YpJCVgehmkRADiCjT3f2-XiXEE5D1tUqmjIyn_rNEZJW6P/s640/Hare+Silhouette+Easter+Card+.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">The raspberry pink card tones nicely with the lilac and purple distress inks. I splashed the inked panel with water and used the lighter splodges to create the hand drawn flowers, stamped flowers were added and then the hare looking over the top of the flowers.</span></span></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<span style="font-size: large;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEid5Snsf4IiXbWwFWGnje8obBpsnEKL_zYDWGrO5FSiKNzyGkjJ1Mz-1Q_qbUsuCehnk09bEYnEmPPi-jpC2gb1CcAgTRy8SU62dFJbgJIwvv1jGOLNMf5LMhm3dYBFuOkmlhpqSe2SI092/s1600/Hare+Silhouette+Easter+Card+3.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="649" data-original-width="700" height="592" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEid5Snsf4IiXbWwFWGnje8obBpsnEKL_zYDWGrO5FSiKNzyGkjJ1Mz-1Q_qbUsuCehnk09bEYnEmPPi-jpC2gb1CcAgTRy8SU62dFJbgJIwvv1jGOLNMf5LMhm3dYBFuOkmlhpqSe2SI092/s640/Hare+Silhouette+Easter+Card+3.JPG" width="640" /></a></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">Picking up on the light lilac in the inky panel I used a new lilac card blank for this card. Using three purple shades of distress inks I stamped the flowers and then the bubbles in grey. the hare was stamped looking up at the bubble. White pen and glitter were used to highlight the stamping</span></span>.</div>
<span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"> </span></span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">Finally a small square card with the hare leaping over stamped flowers. I added the sentiment to the inked panel and highlighted the flowers with glitter.</span></span></div>

<span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">Hello friends, followers and anyone passing by. Today I have my <a href="http://daringcardmakers.blogspot.com/" target="_blank">Daring Cardmakers</a> DT card for this week's challenge. </span></span><span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">More details and the DT inspirations can be found over on the Daring Cardmakers Blog.</span></span></span></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><br /></span></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">Joanne is hosting the Daring Cardmakers Challenge this week and has chosen "March Hare" as the theme, she would like to see March hares or rabbits on your cards, who doesn't love an Easter Bunny or a Mad March Hare? </span></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">I went down the Easter card path and made these hare and bunny cards. </span></span><br />
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh6XNp1faWjfNIhaExx-Ho7UOKz06BNY2MuVAjIvYjtmApiRorRyg2mJ11wuc7xTR1cMWIlyubR6qTm7YG-F0W7RC9WsafAf-ZWx_tw6Hv3ipTc7FxMdhxjmxDvNLJLE_zVmGigaFR4z0ZQ/s1600/Easter+Hare.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="788" data-original-width="700" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh6XNp1faWjfNIhaExx-Ho7UOKz06BNY2MuVAjIvYjtmApiRorRyg2mJ11wuc7xTR1cMWIlyubR6qTm7YG-F0W7RC9WsafAf-ZWx_tw6Hv3ipTc7FxMdhxjmxDvNLJLE_zVmGigaFR4z0ZQ/s640/Easter+Hare.JPG" width="568" /></a></div>
</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">The first card and the scrapling were made using an inked and stamped panel I saved from my 2017 permilldirect calendar. The hare on the panel was used to make the large card and the remaining piece of card was used on the scrapling. The set of stamps used were Hobby Art's March Hares and the original calendar page can be found <a href="https://designsforoccasions.blogspot.com/2016/10/working-on-my-2017-create-calendar.html" target="_blank">HERE</a>. </span></span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">I cut two frames one larger than the other using papermilldirect 300gsm pearlised card. The larger frame was edged with distress ink and a selection of flowers and leaves stamped along the bottom, finally the sentiment was added. The cut out hare was layered onto a large plain white card and the two frames layered over it. An insert was added with some honeycomb stencilling.</span></span></div>

<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">I also made a rabbit card, I just love this cute Bunny Behind stamp from Craft Impressions. The little flowers are from a very old stamp set from Craftwork Cards called Graceful Grasses and Birdcages. Again I cut out two mounts, stamping the largest with the sentiment. The bunny and flowers were stamped onto a square of white card and coloured with distress inks and a water brush, then attached to the center of a pale pink card blank. The first mount was covered in glitter and placed over the image then the second frame added .</span></span><br />

<span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">Hi everyone, another month and it's an elemental challenge over at Daring Cardmakers. Svenja is hosting the challenge this week and has provided us with this collection of photographs. As always we want you to pick three elements from the picture to use in your card.</span></span> </div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh4dJz-FTyReZFOfGZGdOVpC1E5EkHmfzuGvT8Vl9oDohnWq8tS6R87cfq_YhqWCLNye90XjdPxaV5R5ES_H0D0RR42l6qEcmc92VGz_CkYvk-fGgZRqKeTMiqG-_rw1bGi-C15WYtoZ6Cv/s1600/03-march-elements.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="478" data-original-width="440" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh4dJz-FTyReZFOfGZGdOVpC1E5EkHmfzuGvT8Vl9oDohnWq8tS6R87cfq_YhqWCLNye90XjdPxaV5R5ES_H0D0RR42l6qEcmc92VGz_CkYvk-fGgZRqKeTMiqG-_rw1bGi-C15WYtoZ6Cv/s400/03-march-elements.jpg" width="367" /></a></div>

<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhdUF0u4xPyqFBa-4iyg01KhPIcAi5xBa26WJn21ojUnnfEJ2pyZE6i92lDLY5f2ohb8RtPDTOO9H4yCoykL8f6R8ogF7nuU0Go4bcOKmWXUn8M84AVnMwJwDQwtwKLb7YixgITb9NjOkTE/s1600/Daring+Cardmakers+March+Elemental+picture+1+.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="761" data-original-width="700" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhdUF0u4xPyqFBa-4iyg01KhPIcAi5xBa26WJn21ojUnnfEJ2pyZE6i92lDLY5f2ohb8RtPDTOO9H4yCoykL8f6R8ogF7nuU0Go4bcOKmWXUn8M84AVnMwJwDQwtwKLb7YixgITb9NjOkTE/s640/Daring+Cardmakers+March+Elemental+picture+1+.JPG" width="588" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">I found this challenge difficult at first even though there are lots of elements to be used. In the end I went for a sea theme enabling me to use some old stamps and a seahorse die which has only been used once. The elements I chose for my card were the net, the rope, the triangles in the pattern the colours grey, blue and a sprinkle of red.</span></span></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">The top fold card blank was made from papermilldirect hopsack textured card. I used a stencil and salty ocean distress ink for the splats of colour, a net stamp with black ink over it, the curled rope stamped with grey ink over that and then some small red triangles. The sentiment was stamped with grey ink. The seahorse was die cut and coloured with distress markers and added to the card with 3D sticky pads.</span></span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"> </span></span> </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgXHsSxviKOotUCP48soh8iR0KfmxH8y9bRGvwyk4epOydnt7QJBw55tgurvn2jPkBLhbECnp3lEUUhccZBqxbPeZJGz___53j1ZduOMo3R3NEMy_cyuNj0oEPZSRS4qjwpb6gfr3w2JYCG/s1600/Daring+Cardmakers+March+Elemental+picture+4.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="554" data-original-width="700" height="506" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgXHsSxviKOotUCP48soh8iR0KfmxH8y9bRGvwyk4epOydnt7QJBw55tgurvn2jPkBLhbECnp3lEUUhccZBqxbPeZJGz___53j1ZduOMo3R3NEMy_cyuNj0oEPZSRS4qjwpb6gfr3w2JYCG/s640/Daring+Cardmakers+March+Elemental+picture+4.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br />
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><span style="font-size: large;">An insert was made for the card, I stamped this with the curled rope stamp and stencilled splats and left it blank to write my own message. Looking through my envelopes I picked a papermilldirect blue envelope which matched the salty ocean distress ink to go with the card.</span></span></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">I do hope you will come and join us for this week's elemental challenge, we love seeing your cards and look forward to leaving a comments on your blogs.</span></span></div>

<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">Hello everyone, I have been working on my family birthday cards this week and made this dog card for one of my grandsons. This year I am determined to use some of the many stamps I have, some of which have not seen the light of day yet, and try not to give into temptation and buy more.</span></span></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">I got out the crazy cats and dogs stamp set so I could use a funny dog on the card and gathered together some sentiments, mixed media style stamps and some stencils.</span></span> </div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">A card blank was made with papermilldirect white linen card and the sewn circle was stamped onto a piece of white linen cut 2cm smaller than the card blank. The little dog, which looks a bit like my grandsons dog, was stamped in the circle and coloured with distress markers. I picked out some large sentiment stamps to help fill out the white space and stamped them in black ink.</span></span></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">The stamped panel was mounted onto a piece of papermilldirect post box red card to add some colour. The card still looked very CAS for a young man's card so I stencilled the dots onto the card blank using red distress ink before adding the image panel. The dog's nose, eyes and collar were highlighted with Glossy Accents and a few dots of blue perfect pearls added to add a little more colour.</span></span><br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"></span></span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">As I had the stamps out I made another card using one of the cats, this time using a different colour and colouring the circle with a little blue and violet to make it look like a bubble.</span></span><br />

Male cards can be tricky but there are some great ideas from the design team on the <a href="http://daringcardmakers.blogspot.com/" target="_blank">Daring Cardmakers blog</a>. Go over and have a look, the details and link to the challenge can be found there too.</span></span></div>

<span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">I have been playing with my Geli Plate this week and the background for this card was created with acrylic paints and an alphabet stencil, </span></span><span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">a word background stamp</span></span> and papermilldirect white, black and textured card. The background was then overstamped with the words and cut to size then matted onto black card then onto a white hemp card blank. The star was cut from papermilldirect hopsack card, coloured and stencilled with distress ink and the word boy stamped onto it. The birthday word die was cut from black card, the star and the word die were attached to the card with 3D sticky pads.</span></span><br />

<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">Today I have this week's <a href="http://daringcardmakers.blogspot.com/" target="_blank">Daring Cardmakers Challenge</a> DT card. The challenge "Lots Of Candles" is hosted by Mirri and she wants to see candles on your cards, one or lots the choice is yours.</span></span></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">I found a candle stamp to use on my card, one received when working on the Oak House Studio design team but sadly not available to buy now. The candles were stamped in different patterns on different pieces of card and coloured with distress markers. I made up cards using the various stamped image combinations.</span></span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"> </span></span> </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">The first was a row of candles which I mounted onto papermilldirect teal card. This was mounted onto a top fold white linen DL card with 3D sticky pads and a sentiment stamped in teal blue ink. I stamped and coloured two candles inside the card too and added a greeting. To add a little birthday sparkle I added fine glitter to the white areas of candles.</span></span></div>

<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">I made a scrapling gift card using the scrap card from the A4 sheet used to make the card blank. The candles were stamped across and down the scrapling, coloured and glitter added. I will be using this as a gift card for the present to go with the card.</span></span></div>

<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">There was a cut out star on my desk which I thought would make a card for a young man whose birthday it is this month. The candles were stamped in the center of the star, coloured and a sentiment stamped below. I edged the star with distress ink ready to mount onto a stamped background.</span></span></div>
