Still Time To Get Stamp Of The Week And to Enter This Month's Challenge At Oak House Studio

Good afternoon everyone, quiet reigns now the grandchildren have gone, they have been staying with grandma for the past two weeks so not much crafting for me.  We did do some painting and Sophie made some tissue flowers after this it got rather messy as they decided to make some magic potions which involved water, paints and glitter.  The potions were tested on my poor plants with no effect, but with the help of some Oak House Studio inks in a bottle the leaves turned very colourful and sparkly, their little faces were a picture when they discovered them the next day.

Here is an art journal front cover created using Oak House Studio inks and stamps, including this week's stamp of the week "Clematis Corner", still time to pick this up at half price if you are quick.  Don't forget the Oak House Challenge either, open until the end of the month with a theme of "Alphabetica" - words, numbers, letter etc. the enjoy what you do stamp would be ideal for use on your alphabetica cards.

I used the clematis corner and the enjoy what you do word stamp and a selection of inks in a bottle and pigment inks, all from Oak House Studio.  A little white acrylic paint and some texture pste through a stencil.  The Artist Journal stamp is from a stampers anonymous set.  The book was a bargain from my local stationers  and has a hand made paper covering giving the finished cover a soft felty look.

Off now to work on some more DT samples I need to get on with and try catch up with some commenting and checking out what everyone else has been up to over the last two weeks, back soon xx
