Hi everyone in blogland, Oak House Studio have a Design Team Call out at the moment, this will be for three months September, October and November. Check it out here and on the facebook page Inkspired by Oak House Studio . Fabulous stamps and materials to work with, I have really enjoyed my three months with them and would recommend it to anyone looking to join a design team whether you have done DT work before or not.
More great news from Oak House Studio, for the next few week there will be a special offer on "Stamp Of The Week". For one week (or until stocks run out) you can get the stamp of the week at a reduced price. This week's stamp was Pansy Pot but unfortunately this sold out very quickly but next week's stamp has been brought forward so pop over to the shop and check out the Circles and Flowers stamp set which you can get for half price for the next week.
The Pansy Pot will be back in stock soon, it is a fabulous stamp and I used it for the main element and as a background on my card. The background was created using the faux batik technique - stamped in clear embossing ink and embossed with clear powder, coloured with Oak House Studio pigment inks then the embossing removed using kitchen paper and a hot iron. The main image was coloured with a mixture of Oak House Studio bottle inks ans pigment inks.
This is a quick scrapling I made using a white pearlised card cut off from a square card. The circle dies were stamped using Oak House Studio pigment inks, lemon yellow and golden yellow. The button stamps are from the A Stitch In Time stamp set and the sentiment from the Large Spring Blooms set, all available in the Oak House Studio shop.
These are gorgeous Sylv, love the stitching and the background looks gorgeous. Love the second card with the lovely Zingy colour.
