Just in time for The Craft Barn Alpha Challenge Letter N

Good morning all, a quick post today before my family arrive for the weekend.

I am behind with my Craft Barn alpha challenge again, missed the deadline for L (with a window) but am on time for letter N (just).  My chosen word is nib.  A bit rushed and for some reason my brain would not get into gear for this one, here is my effort.  The stamps used were from Stampers Anonymous, Sheena Douglas and Indigo Blu, was going to add the two ducks from Alice Palace for the nib being a beak but  could't think where to put them.  Maybe I will get some inspiration next week when I get my crafty goodies out again.

I had more luck with  letter L (with a window), the word I chose was  lattice with my window placed round the definition.  The lattice was cut using the Silhouette Cameo, lemon and lime colouring for the background, and some lavinder flowers.  I placed a piece of stamped vellum in the bottom half of the window for a net curtain and finished with the letter L with a doodled lattice.   

Not many letters to go now, I may have missed a few deadlines for posting due to holidays but I am pleased I have managed to complete all the letters given so far.  Off now to do the dreaded housework and ironing before the hoards descend lol.

Waiting for Santa

Hello blogland, friends, followers and family.  We are into November and once we have Bonfire Night out of the way Christmas will be racing towards us.  The theme for the Crafty Bloggers Challenge this month is of course "Christmas".  So come on lets see all your seasonal makes and get in the festive spirit.  The design team have been working hard so pop over to the blog and see their amazing seasonal projects.

Just some Lines

Here is my DT card using the Just Some Lines image Penguine 3, such a cute imageI thought he was looking out for Santa on a snowy Christmas night.

I cut a card blank from white linen card from the Papermill Direct and printed the greeting using a sentiment from Pink Petticoat.  The digi image was printed onto white linen card, coloured with Promarkers, cut out with a Spellbinders die and the edges coloured with distress inks.  The image was attached to the card and stamped round with Fields of Sky (A Stamp In The Hand Company) and embossed with white embossing powder.  The area around the die cut was coloured randomly with distress inks to show up the snow. 

I am certainly getting in the mood for Christmas, hope you are too and you let us see your Christmassy entries to the challenge.

Anything Goes but Show Us Your Bling time Over At The Twinchie Challenge

This month's challenge over at the Show Us Your Twinchies Challenge is Anything Goes but they would like to see some bling and glitz.  Here are a few twinchies using some of those glitzy freebies from magazines and lots of Glamour Dust.

I  seem to have a vast amount of stick on crystals and sequins which have been gathered over the years, usually freebies from magazines.  The above twinchies have at least used up a few.

These CAS twinchies use glamour Dust, a plain and simple stamped image highlighted with the glitzy glitter.

And finally putting on the glitz,  a few feathers, glitter card and sparkly miri card.

Pop over and try your hand at twinchies, anything goes and they are ideal for using up all those sparkly bits and bobs you have left from your Christmas crafting.  All my twinchies have been made using scraps of card (from the Papermill of course) left over from crafting, I hate to waste anything.
