Good morning all you lovely ladies out in blogland, the weather here today is bright and sunny but cold. I have made an early start on my altered dictionary page for the Craft Barn alpha challenge this fortnight, the letter is "Q" and my word is quack.
I had the Crafty Individuals Alice Palace Favourite Ducks stamp out on my desk and this prompted me to pick the word quack, the stethoscope was downloaded from the web to depict the second half of the definition "an untrained person who pretends to have medical knowledge, a charlatan".
The ducks were stamped directly onto the page and the word quack printed a few times, fussy cut and stuck to the page, the stethoscope was also fussy cut and stuck to the page with the words Quack Medicine printed on the bottle. My letter Q was stamped with the ducks then coloured with squeezed lemonade distress ink and edged with a little black soot. The whole page was coloured with a mix of squeezed lemonade and dried marigold distress ink.
A nice quick page, no last minute dash this fortnight.
This is wonderful Sylv, you do these pages fabulously.
