Good evening friends, followers and family, today I have a Mother's Day card made with papermilldirect's latest offer card Coniston blue. This is a gorgeous blue and you can get a small A4 box for just £4.40, that's a saving of 50% on the regular price, you can find it here in Special Offers Section.
The design team have been making Mother's Day cards this week and you can see them on the papermilldirect blog. My card is a simple make with stamping, heat embossing and a few paper embellishments.
The solid flower was stamped in the bottom left hand corner and the
words stamped using embossing ink and embossed with white embossing
powder. The other two flowers were stamped using embossing ink and left
to dry. The card was embellished with a die cut butterfly and some
thin pieces of scrap card which were wound round to make the flower
centers. The stamped panel was layered onto white card and then
fastened to a white linen card blank using 3D sticky tape.
Materials used:
- Papermilldirect Coniston blue and white linen cardstock
- Hero Arts Sweet Threads collection and Papermania Urban Stamps Vintage Notes Sentiments
- Memory Box butterfly die
- white embossing powder and Versamark embossing ink
- 3D sticky tape
I'm partial to blue so this beautiful CAS card is right up my street! There will be a happy Mum this weekend...
