One for the Boys

Today I am working on birthday cards for friends and family, there are quite a few to be made and I like to get them done and put in my birthday book so I always have a card ready when birthdays come round.

Thinking of a birthday card for a male friend I came up with this blue stamped card.  It fits nicely into the CASology challenge this week which is BLUE.  I may work on this in different colours for a few other cards (that's the mens' cards sorted!)

I masked a white card and coloured it with distress ink, removed the masking and stamped the Stampers Anonymous bitty grunge circles down the card in a darker shade of distress ink.   The circles were stamped out onto card and cut out to place on the card with sticky fixers.  The greeting was stamped and a piece of twine fastened round the card.

Now to think of some nice girly cards for the ladies on my list.

  1. Love this - the simplicity of the circles enhanced by the popped up texture and the sponging is really cool! Thanks so much for playing along with us at CASology this week,
