Not all Black & White

After a slow start I am now back in the swing of things and the ideas are coming thick and fast.  There are one or two challenges I want to get involved in this year, one is the Craft Barn altered dictionary challenge and I would love to join the Tim Holtz 12 Tags of 2013 challenge if I can keep up for a full year!!

The challenge at Less is more this week is "Black & White" with a hint of one other colour.  This CAS card fits the bill, I am also entering it in the Allsorts challenge with a theme "CAS".

Using a stamp set I bought on my trip to Leeds in December - Craftwork Cards Graceful Grasses & Birdcages - The grasses and two birds were stamped across the bottom of the card and two bird cages stamped to hang from the top of the card.  I stamped one of the birdcages on a spare piece of card, cut it out and 3D it on the card.  The pink colour detail was added using a paintbrush and a distress ink pad.

I have a second card I am just finishing which, if I have time, may be entered too.
