Hi everyone, this is my first post for two weeks. I have my Papermilldirect DT card for you today. There is a great selection of card in the Special Offer Section this week, I used 325gsm ivory taffeta alongside silver and white linen to make this anniversary/wedding card and gift card. All three cards and many more can be found in the Special Offer Section, the ivory taffeta is a super weight and quality card and as you know the white linen is my most used card.
I was a bit limited for materials so had a quick trip to the local
Hobbycraft where I bought some stamps and ribbon. I used white linen
cardstock to make a card blank and a panel to mount the hearts onto,
another slightly larger panel was cut from the ivory taffeta card. The
bottom corners were rounded on all pieces before stamping with lilac
Versamark and the chrysanthermum stamp. The sentiments are Crafter's Companion Signature Collection special day and the heart dies I'm not sure of the make but they are a set of one plain and three flourish hearts.
I did write a post last week but it didn't get published, here is what I made. I had my sons and grandchildren for the second half of the school holidays, they went out a few day and played at home the rest of the time. I bought a scrapbook set for my granddaughter at Christmas and I made a scrapbook page using Papermilldirect 12" x 12" white linen card to give her an idea of what scrapbooking is about. Papermilldirect sell the full range of colours in 12" x 12" now ideal for all you scrappers out there.

I
sprayed my page with Oak House Studio Colour Chemistry inks in french
mint and bottled sunshine and used distress inks in cracked pistachio
and rusty hinge with a selection of stencils. The saying from Bee
Crafty was stamped onto apple green card and mounted onto sunflower
yellow colourflute card. A lovely memory of a stay at grandmas.
elegant and very beautiful card and a fantastic layout Sylv
