Hooray! It's Father's Day

Hi everyone Sylvia  here with a modern clean and simple Father's Day card made with my favourite go to card papermilldirect white linen. 

The card front was designed on the computer using desktop publishing software.  The moustache was a digital download which has four different moustaches.   The eyebrows were created in the software by separating each side of one of the moustaches, flipping one side over to give me two matching eyebrows and spacing them apart. I used shapes to create the the monocle placing it under one eyebrow and the sentiments were typed above and below the picture.

The finished picture was printed onto white linen 255gsm card red cotton threaded through the monocle and a little blue distress ink painted round the rim of the monocle.  I cut the picture down to fit an A6 card and mounted it onto black plain 255gsm card then onto the A6 white linen card blank.
