Out And About Summer Fun

Hello everyone, Today is the start of a new challenge over at The Daring Cardmakers.  The theme is "Go Outside - It's Summer", pop on over and check out the design team inspiration.   The challenge runs for a week so if you make any Summery cards this weekend why not enter them into the challenge.

Outside and Summer means caravanning and the seaside to me.  I have had the caravan digital image for ages (Pinkpetticoat now The Lovely Studio) and thought I would give it an airing for this challenge theme.  It was printed directly onto a papermilldirect white linen card blank and coloured with distress markers.  

I cut out three photo frames using a Sizzix die and stuck them together to give a deep frame, this was placed over the caravan image to make it look like a photo.  

I wanted to add some Summer fun and added the bucket, spade and starfish which were cut out using the Silhouette and card from my card bits box.  The sentiment was computer generated, printed and added to the photo frame to finish the card.
