As well as the advent calenders for the children I have been making them cards too. This one fits the bill for this week's Charisma Card Challenge - 2 backing papers, 3 embelishments/flowers and 1 stamped image/sentiment. I have used this digi stamp quite a lot, I usually choose him over the other snowmen because he looks so cuddly.
The 2 papers are digi downloads from Pink Petticoat and the snowman image and holly digi images are from The Digi Stamp Boutique. I coloured the snowman and holly with pro-markers and cut out the star embelishments using Sizzix dies, the greeting is a stamp from Lili of the Valley.
The card was created by folding A4 card in half and cutting down the top and sides to make a shaped card. The star paper was cut to the same shape and 1 cm trimmed off to leave a white border round the card. I attached a strip of striped paper down the center, added the coloured image, stars and holly. The greeting was stamped with black ink and attached to a star which was placed in the top right hand corner of the card. The inside was printed with stars and a greeting, cut to fit and attached inside.
Cute card. Lovely snowman.
