This week's Charisma challenge is "Feeling Blue" so here is my card in my favourite colour blue. The stamps were from Molly Bloom's Christmas Carnival Magazine and Card Making kit, and the greeting is a Lilly of the Valley stamp, the card, paper, lace and and flowers were from my bits box not sure of the makes.
Dotty blue paper was layered onto turquoise card and ribbon and lace attached, as I had my sewing machine out I decided to sew round the edges of all the pieces I was layering. The girl image was stamped, cut out and coloured with distress inks, I used the colours which were out on my desk, then mounted at an angle onto white card layered with the turquoise, this was then placed at an angle over the lace and ribbon. The stamped buttons were coloured and sewn onto some paper flowers and placed on the card with the greeting.
I am pleased with the end result, a nice Christmas card for one of the little girls in the family.
